  2. Which relationship do you think teach him to think for himself? Why?

  3. In what ways does Gary show a growing sense of repsonsibility?

  1. 1. Gary starts acting independently when he decides to go to Dumby's funeral and not go fishing with his dad. Also whenhe steals his dad's paint brush and paint.
    2. His relationship with his dad teaches him to think for himself because he never helps him and is always putting him down.
    3. Gary shows a growing sense of responsibility when his mum goes to Adelaide and he is just there with his siblings.

  2. Gary acts independently when he goes to Dumby's Funeral and doesn't go fishing with his Dad. I think the relationship with his Dad makes him think for himself because his Dad won't ever think for him. Gary shows responsibility when he steals the paint to paint out the sign himself instead of asking someone else to do it

  5. Gary starts acting independently when he does wat he wants and does what he thinks is right. he showed this by going to dumbys funeral.
Blacky starts to think for himself after he gets fed up of his dad and the violence.
Gary shows a growing sence of responsibility when he paints over the racist comment without being asked or told to, he does it because he thinks its whats right.
